200+ Taps Sugarhouse

Our fifth sugarhouse, this 14’0 x 20’0 framework is joined entirely in mixed oak. The frame pattern is influenced by 19th century American timber-framing. A portion of the rafters were “headed” to accommodate the opening in the roof for the sugarhouse “cupola”. The frame was raised by hand in late summer by a gathering of family and friends.
